Qualified Counsellors

RASA provide counselling to people who have been subjected to rape and sexual abuse. We are currently looking for volunteer counsellors to join our counselling team.   

We have opportunities for working with both adults and children working face to face and online.   All volunteers must be a member of the BACP and be fully qualified to level 4.  Ideally you would have a good understanding of the impacts of sexual abuse and understand the issues that those subjected to sexual abuse may face.  Good communication skills and understanding of safeguarding adults and children is essential for this role.

In return for commitment of 3 clients per week RASA offer formal training including level 5 trauma course, as well as access to on-going training opportunities. You will receive monthly line management and clinical supervision.

Recruitment for internal trainee counsellors, qualified counsellors and listening ear volunteers.

Recruitment process is open for receipt of applications April 2025

Closing date for applications TBC.

Interviews will take place week commencing TBC.

Mandatory training dates are TBC (you must be able to attend all dates) .
