Congratulations to the amazing team of women from RASA. On the 5th of July, they completed a 21 mile walk to raise awareness of sexual abuse and the impact of victim blaming as part of the #it’s not me, it’s you campaign.
The team said, “we wanted to stand up for anyone who has been subjected to victim blaming and pay tribute to anyone who has been tragically lost, going through it or been impacted by it. Together we can pay tribute to survivors and stand up for anyone who has been subjected to sexual violence. What is always important to understand is that sexual violence is never, ever the fault of the person who experiences it”.
It was a physically demanding and challenging day, but the camaraderie and passion of the team spurred them all on.
Well done to everyone who took part, and to everyone who is supporting the campaign.
