Last night, the Radio City tower shone purple to raise awareness of North West Sexual Violence Awareness week. Alongside other support services, RASA Merseyside has been promoting the work we do, and sending a clear message to survivors that we are here to listen and support you.
To honour and remember those who have been subjected to sexual abuse, RASA Merseyside hosted a vigil last night at the Bombed Out Church. The moment of reflection saw the community come together to stand up against sexual abuse. Supporters were encouraged to bring a torch to help us to shine a light on the issue. Words were shared by poets, supporters, and the Police and Crime Commissioner.
Thank you to everyone who has played a role in supporting us during this important week, and to all those who have shown solidarity.
